Situated towards the Southern end of the Atlantic City Boardwalk, the Tropicana is a top destination for the value-hunters. Out of season, rooms have sometimes been known to go for $20 or less mid-week.
At the weekends, especially 'in-season', the Trop can turn into a big party venue. With some excellent dining and night-life options, as well as a pretty big casino floor, the casino makes a good option for party people.
Has a really nice feel to it, a very good casino and some excellent dining options. The rooftop lounge is extremely popular, especially with people looking for that last drink before watching a show.
The Rumba Lounge on the casino floor, is also well worth visiting, with top-class entertainment creating a fun, vibrant party atmosphere
For the slots player, Tropicana is a very good choice of casino with plenty of superb games to enjoy. The casino is renowned for getting the new games in first. For example, they introduced both the multi-player Battleship slots and Ghostbusters way before the other casinos on The Boardwalk.
Right at the heart of the Tropicana complex, lies The Quarter. This is a huge expansion of non-gaming facilities, covering what you would have to describe as world-class night life, shopping, leisure and dining options.
One of the most famous (and popular) venues is the Cuba Libra restaurant, serving a superb range of Cuban delicacies.
Cuba Libra really is fine-dining at its best, Cuban style and if you have never eaten fine Cuban food, it is well worth a visit. Even something as simple as an empenada is taken to the next level at Cuba Libre.
As you would expect, Tropicana also caters for casual dining and you can get some great American food in the Seaside Cafe. The buffet is also of good quality, offering great value for those of you with a bigger appetite.
On top of that, Tropicana also has it's own branch of Hooters, a Starbucks and a whole host of other 'quick bite' dining options.
